Symrise is constantly seeking out approaches and solutions along the entire value chain, from the raw material suppliers to the end consumers, that benefit everyone. We call this approach “Sharing Values.” We see this as an important criterion for ensuring quality, a long-term supply of raw materials and innovation.
For instance, working with Symrise allows small-scale farmers located at the beginning of the raw materials supply chain to increase their yields and thereby their income. At the same time, Symrise supports the communities of the small-scale farmers and helps them to become more independent and consolidate their capacities over the long term. Collaborations like these include vanilla farming in Madagascar and the Amazon region in northern Brazil.
Symrise also helps disadvantaged people around the world through donations, sponsorships and employee volunteering, as well as by supporting social projects. Beneficiaries include the non-profit organization NOT FOR SALE in Thailand as well as flood victims in the Philippines.
